Radiant heating system cause of condo fire

Firefighters in Back Bay, Mass., said a fire in the five-story, three-condo building was started by an underfloor radiant heating system, according to BackBayPatch.com. Fire damage to the top condo and water damage to the middle condo totalled $5 million but no injuries were reported.

The name of the radiant floor heating system manufacturer was not disclosed.
