They answer a few simple questions about their homes, existing heating and cooling systems and hot water needs — the calculator does the rest.

 ClimateMaster explains that the calculations are just a demonstration of the potential savings and are not an implied promise of actual geothermal cost savings. To get a more accurate assessment, the company advises to get in touch with a ClimateMaster dealer, who can help select the right system for individual homes and heating/cooling needs.
