Nexstar Network announced its member development and support capabilities have grown with the addition of three new team members.
“Nexstar is very excited about the new talented people we are recruiting in to work on our growing member services,” Nexstar Network President and CEO Jack Tester said. “These good people will allow is to continue to provide extraordinary service to our members and add new capabilities to our team.”
Mary Gillen joined Nexstar’s strategic partner team as member relations representative, a new role that was developed specifically to help Nexstar members maximize their rebates with vendors. She has an association background and has experience developing educational materials and managing marketing.
“I am beyond excited to be a part of Nexstar and continue to be amazed every day at the amount of hustle and passion this organization carries,” Gillen said. “I look forward to working with members to ensure they are getting the most out of our strategic partner program.”
Steven Vang is now a part of Nexstar’s developments team in the role of online learning specialist. He has a background in technical communication and instructional design and specializes in making information easy to read, learn and replicate.
“What surprised and impressed me since day one of working here at Nexstar is its futuristic planning and innovative methods to be the best in the industry,” Vang said. “The world is moving to the cloud for convenience and access and Nexstar is making sure its members are ahead of everyone else in the industry, and I get to be a part of that.”
Ryan Yackel has also joined Nexstar’s developments team as videographer. He recently graduated from The Art Institutes of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in digital filmmaking and video production. Yackel said he is most excited to work with Nexstar’s video producer to create content-rich videos to help the members grow their businesses.
Gillen, Vang and Yackel join a team of 45 dedicated coaches, trainers and support staff who work with plumbing, HVAC and electrical residential service contractors to help them improve their businesses.
