More than 900 members and vendor partners attended Nexstar Network’s annual Super Meeting, held Sept. 24–27, 2024, at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Over the course of four days, the event featured dedicated spaces and times for members to meet with their business coaches, as well as multiple social and networking events. Every day and event was designed to help owners in the trades make connections, learn how to take their businesses to the next level, and harness emerging technologies in the industry.  

IEC, a subsidiary of Climate Control Group, celebrated its 75th anniversary in October. IEC and Climate Control Group executives took the stage to reflect on the journey of the last 75 years and to share their vision for the future. CEO Kevin McNamara addressed the employees, expressing his appreciation for their hard work and dedication. He outlined the company's strategic vision for the next three years, emphasizing three core pillars: Quality, Culture, and Innovation.

Uponor North America celebrated the grand opening of its newly constructed Uponor Experience Center located at its regional headquarters in Apple Valley, Minnesota. Boasting 4,500 square feet of hands-on displays, full-scale residential and commercial training areas, and cutting-edge innovation showcases, the new Uponor Experience Center is a flexible education and discovery space designed to advance the technical skills of current and potential customers. In addition, it will help foster innovation within the plumbing and HVAC industry and provide an immersive experience for employees and visitors alike.

ServiceTitan hosted contractors from various skilled trades at its Pantheon 2023 event, held in Orlando, Florida. The event, which was sold out, featured more than 75 educational breakout sessions, numerous networking events and a Product & Partner village for attendees to interact with vendors.

Milwaukee Tool invited contractors and media to its Pipeline event, held at its headquarters in Milwaukee. Attendees were treated to new product announcements as well as trade-focused presentations and hands-on time to check out new products and solutions during the event.

Plumbing & Mechanical traveled to Switzerland and Liechtenstein to be one of the firsts in the industry to see Hilti unveil its all-new Nuron 22V cordless platform with built-in connectivity.

After taking a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, PHCC members were thrilled to meet face-to-face at the annual PHCCCONNECT event, held Oct. 20-22 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Plumbing Manufacturers International held its annual conference at The DonCesar in St. Pete Beach, Florida, Nov. 4-7.

The fourth annual Service World Expo returned to Las Vegas, Oct. 14-18, with 1,900 plumbing, HVAC, electrical and remodeling contractors in attendance.
