Rinnai Corp., a manufacturer of tankless gas water heaters, continues to highlight its three newest products with the six-month Try Rinnai Tour, stopping at nearly 1,500 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. The tour is currently underway and will run through Sept. 21.
This tour experience is like no other. Seven Rinnai fully loaded vans will be traveling from city to city for the next six months, giving pros a firsthand experience and glimpse at three new products: Rinnai’s Sensei Tankless Water Heater, the new M-Series Condensing Boiler and the latest version of the Demand Duo 80 Commercial Water Heating System.
The tour vans will also include an interactive “Yank the Tank” Virtual Reality (VR) product experience giving users a glimpse into the quick installation process of the new Sensei model. The 4-minute-long simulation allows users to slip on the latest HTC Vive VR headset and hand controllers to virtually “Yank the Tank” by ripping out a rusty old tank water heater and replacing it with a new Sensei Tankless model. Surrounded by a virtual work space, the user is guided by voice instructions on the easier and faster installation process.
“We’re thrilled that we are able to give pros the ability to see our products up close and even experience the virtual reality of the fast and easy installation process of our new Sensei model,” Rinnai Vice President of Marketing Mark Buss said. “Our commitment and dedication to bringing customers the best products in the water heating industry are unrivaled as we bring the tour nearly right into your backyard.”
In addition to the VR experience, attendees will have a chance to participate in a survey and receive program information on ACE, consumer financing options and how to become a remote monitoring dealer. The tour vans will be offering complimentary refreshments while pros check out the latest and greatest Rinnai products, including takeaways of both printed and digital information on each of the products. Most importantly, attendees will be able to enter to win an exclusive, all-expense-paid NASCAR experience for two by completing the online Sensei training.
