After a 40-year career with Bradford White Corp., Nicholas J. Giuffre, CEO, has retired effective July 31, 2018.
“Bradford White is an incredible company, and my experiences here have been amazing, allowing me to grow and learn from our many great customers, business partners and employees with whom I’ve had the honor of working over these past four decades,” said Giuffre.
Giuffre joined Bradford White in 1978 following his graduation from Bloomsburg University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. He worked his way up from an entry-level telephone representative to his role as the leader of Bradford White. In 1997, he won the prestigious Golden Eagle Award from AIM/R – Association of Independent Manufacturers’ Representatives. This coveted award is given to those who are most supportive of the role of manufacturers representatives in the plumbing/HVAC industry.
In 2011, Giuffre was honored by the American Supply Association (ASA) as recipient of the Fred V. Keenan Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of his contributions and achievements in support of the industry’s wholesale community. Most recently, he served as chairman of the Karl E. Neupert Education Foundation Endowment Investment Committee of the ASA and as an executive board member of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI).
Carnevale Promoted to CEO of Bradford White Corp.
In other news, Bradford White announced the promotion of R. Bruce Carnevale to the position of president and chief executive officer. In his new position, Carnevale will have overall responsibility for Bradford White Water Heaters, Laars Heating Systems, Niles Steel Tank and Bradford White Canada.
“Bruce has been a proven leader throughout his 22-year career at Bradford White, and he has assembled a talented and dedicated team across our Corporation that will assure the success of our company and customers well into the future,” said Giuffre.
On Aug. 1, 2018, immediately following Giuffre’s retirement, Carnevale assumed the role of CEO, while retaining his current role as president of Bradford White Corp.
Carnevale began his career with Bradford White in 1996, serving as the product manager of International Sales. Since June of 2017, Carnevale has been serving as president and COO. Carnevale is also a member of the corporation’s board of directors, a trustee of the company’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and actively serves on several committees and boards in support of the plumbing and HVAC industries.
