Following a national search with strong public interest, Moen announced Nina Kshetry, PE, as the company’s first water director. Kshetry will work with the Moen team to deepen its connections to water organizations across the U.S. who share the company’s passion for making each and every interaction with water more meaningful. These relationships and insights will help Moen advance its innovation agenda to improve the experiences people have with water in their homes.
“The amount of positive responses we received from extremely qualified candidates passionate about water exceeded our expectations,” said Mark-Hans Richer, senior vice president, chief marketing and innovation officer, Fortune Brands Global Plumbing Group. “After meeting Nina, who is a two-time MIT graduate, we knew almost immediately she was the perfect fit to join us as we evolve how we interact with water and challenge the status quo, specifically in how consumers can better manage this resource through innovation.”
A licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Florida, Kshetry will be a conduit in connecting Moen to her network of individuals and organizations who are focused on broader scope water situations across the country. There’s also an opportunity for product innovation that falls hand in hand with helping consumers become more aware of how they use water, and the infinite benefits of leveraging more water-efficient and smart-water products within the home.
“Elevating the way people experience water by creating innovative technologies that use this vital resource in a smarter way has been the focus of my career,” said Kshetry. “My hope is that this collaboration will inspire people to look differently at the way they use this resource every day and to understand how products, like those developed and offered through Moen, can improve their lives while protecting the environment.”
