Liberty Pumps announced that its board of directors elected Robyn Brookhart to the position of president of Liberty Pumps, effective immediately. She replaces Charlie Cook who will remain CEO and chairman.
Robyn has been with Liberty for 22 years. She has served in a variety of positions including sales and marketing, customer service and manufacturing. Most recently, she was the company’s executive vice president, as well as its COO – a position she will retain.
Brookhart’s strategic path throughout the organization provided her with the knowledge she would need to eventually take the leading role with Liberty Pumps.
“There is no better way to learn the roots of an organization than to go through the process of working all segments of the business,” states Charlie Cook, CEO, chairman of the board and Brookhart’s father. “I am excited and proud that the company will remain in our family heritage and I am confident with Robyn’s ability to lead the company into the future.”
Brookhart has an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree in Marketing from SUNY Fredonia. She has served on the board of the Genesee/Orleans Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (GCASA) and is currently on the board of the Genesee Community College Foundation. Robyn is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the American Supply Association (ASA) Women in Industry group.
