Brasscraft Mfg. Co., a provider of branded rough plumbing products, announced it is accepting 2020 applications for its BrassCraft Zell Scholarship Program, which provides financial assistance to plumbing apprentices. This year marks the seventh year that Brasscraft Mfg. Co. has offered scholarships. The company has awarded more than a half million dollars in funding since program inception.

“As a leader in the plumbing industry, we believe we have a responsibility to support aspiring tradesmen and women,” said Mike Roberts, vice president of marketing and product development. “We’re pleased to continue this program and help the next generation build their future.”

The program provides scholarships to help apprentices with their tuition costs. The scholarship amount awarded is based on actual tuition cost incurred by the apprentice, up to $1,500. Note: BrassCraft will award up to five (5) scholarships per accredited school per year. Apprentices may apply for a scholarship annually.

The BrassCraft Zell Scholarship program was named in honor of the company’s founder, Robert M. Zell. For over 70 years, the company has been committed to meeting the needs of the professional plumber by providing quality products they can trust.

Full program requirements can be found on the company’s website. Interested apprentices should apply online at: https://www.brasscraft.com/about-us/scholarships/. All scholarship funds are sent directly to the apprentice’s training center.
