Franklin Electric Co. announced that Stephen Putnam has joined its Industrial & Engineered Systems business unit. In his new role as senior business unit manager, Putman will lead all of the commercial activities within the company’s OEM business segment, providing technical expertise and setting the strategic vision to support the needs and growth of Franklin Electric’s customers.
Putnam has more than 10 years of experience in the pump systems industry, including sales management positions at Grundfos and EBARA Pumps. Most recently, he served the needs of OEM clients at Viking Pump. While at Viking and EBARA, Putnam played a key role in optimizing resources and processes to help customers procure products quickly. His experience includes developing quoting and pricing management tools as well as performance dashboards.

Putnam received his MBA from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He is also a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, where he studied economics and business.
