October welcomes the crispness of autumn air. This is the perfect month to indulge in a steaming cup of cider or latte while enjoying the cool outdoor weather. It is a great month for fireside gatherings with friends and loved ones to share stories, laughter, and seasonal delights. October is an invitation to savor the beauty of change.
The United States (U.S.) Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions, also known as the Unified Agenda, is a tool for staying informed about upcoming regulatory changes that could impact your business. The Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Office of Management and Budget of the Executive Office of the President publishes the Unified Agenda twice a year which lists federal departments and agencies' regulatory actions under development or review. The Unified Agenda also indicates which regulatory activities can significantly impact small businesses, small governmental organizations, and small nonprofit organizations.
In this month's article, I curated a list of regulatory activities from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (U.S. CPSC), Department of Energy (U.S. DOE), Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA), Federal Trade Commission (U.S. FTC), Department of Housing and Urban Development (U.S. HUD), and Small Business Administration (U.S. SBA) that may be of interest to you. I've organized the regulatory activities by agency or department and rulemaking stage and listed their Regulation Identifier Number (RIN).
