Franklin Electric has been recognized as one of America’s Greenest Companies 2025 by Newsweek. Newsweek compiled the list in conjunction with data analytics firms Plant-A Insights Group and GIST Impact. The list recognizes the top 500 companies in the U.S. based on environmental sustainability and the advancements these companies have made toward managing their sustainability footprint.

Companies were evaluated and scored on more than 25 parameters across four categories: greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, water usage, waste generation, and sustainability data disclosures and commitments. Franklin Electric publishes data related to many of these categories on an annual basis in its comprehensive Sustainability Report

“As a leader in providing our customers and communities with solutions to safely and efficiently move water and energy, sustainability must be inherent in all that we do,” said Joe Ruzynski, CEO of Franklin Electric. “From our products to our manufacturing practices, we understand the value of preserving our natural resources. This recognition reinforces that the work we’re doing will be important for generations to come.”

The award marks another sustainability milestone for Franklin Electric, having previously received awards for America’s Climate Leaders 2024 by USA Today and Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies 2024.
