The L.S. Starrlett Co. has added heavy-duty Ship Auger drill bits to its line of tools and saw blades. The Ship Augers are available in 7 1/2- and 18-inch lengths and in a wide variety of diameters. They feature a coarse screw point to draw the bit into the hole and hollow centers to quickly clear chips from the hole.
