Fourth Quarter & Year-End Results
GroupMAC:Prior to its merger with Building One to become Encompass Services Corp., GroupMAC reported record revenues and earnings in 1999. Fourth quarter revenues increased 50 percent to $426 million, compared with $284 million for the fourth quarter of 1998. For the year, revenues were up 103 percent to $1.55 billion, and yearly earnings before the merger were $1.21 per diluted share.Building One: Building One reported $507 million in revenue for the fourth quarter of 1999, with a net income of $13 million, or $0.45 per diluted share. Total 1999 revenues topped $1.77 billion, compared with $810 million in 1998, a 119 percent increase. Earnings for the year were $1.65 per diluted share before the merger.
Emcor: Emcor Group Inc. announced record fourth quarter and full year results, with fourth quarter revenues of $847 million and net income of $11.7 million. For 1999, the company reported net income of $27.8 million, or $2.21 per diluted share, an increase of 126 percent over the previous year.
AMPAM: American Plumbing and Mechanical Inc. reported fourth quarter revenues increased 21 percent to $120.8 million. Net income for the quarter was $2 million, or $0.11 per diluted share, up from $0.03 per share for the last quarter of 1998. Revenues for the year totaled $451 million, an increase of 21 percent over 1998.
Comfort Systems USA: Comfort Systems announced that fourth quarter revenues increased 23 percent to $362 million, or $0.22 per diluted share. Revenues for the year approached $1.4 billion, an increase of 60 percent over 1998. Net income for the year was $42.3 million, or $1.09 per diluted share.
