Vaillant has decided to suspend its domestic manufacturing operations.
In the market for 14 years, Vaillant Corp., Cinnaminson, NJ, manufacturers of cast-iron gas and oil-fired boilers, indirect water heaters and instantaneous gas water heaters, has decided to suspend its domestic manufacturing operations effective Dec. 31, 1996. “We regret the necessity for this action which results from our inability to find a suitable replacement for our German casing vendor, RAPIDO Waermetechnik GmbH, which was sold on Nov. 22, 1996,” explained Vaillant president Holger Thiesen. Vaillant will continue to supply replacement parts to its existing products and will honor its warranty obligations.
