Jacuzzi Brands has entered into an agreement to sell its Eljer Plumbingware business to an affiliate of Sun Capitol Partners Inc., a private investment firm. The affiliate will assume almost all of the current assets and liabilities of Eljer, and also take the Ford City, Pa., and Tupelo, Miss., operations. Jacuzzi Brands will retain the Salem, Ohio, manufacturing facility property which was closed in fiscal year 2004.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of Jacuzzi Brand's fiscal 2005 third quarter, July 2, 2005.
