Its goals include extending its reach to the more than 25 million workers in the manufacturing and construction industries to improve their skills and make workplaces safer. Courses include: Ergonomics; Hazardous Materials; Machinery and Machine Guarding Standards; Permit-Required Confined Space Entry; Electrical Standards; General Industry Standards; Construction Industry Standards; Industrial Hygiene; and Collateral Duty.
EMU's OSHA Training Institute will begin offering the online courses in November.
