Elkay recently completed a large upgrade of its Savanna, Ill., water cooler manufacturing facility. Improvements will enable the plant to manufacture key components in-house that were previously outsourced. In other news, the Elkay Cabinetry Group is investing $19 million in the construction of a 256,000-sq.-ft. wood finishing and cabinetry assembly plant in Danville, Va., to provide added capacity for Yorktowne Cabinetry.
