The New England Fuel Institute (NEFI) has introduced a progressive Oilheat Masters Program for its technical training courses, which began in April, at NEFI's training facility in Watertown, Mass.

Labeled as “the advanced skills program for service technicians,” the course is geared for experienced technicians who wish to bring their expertise to a new level.

NEFI educator Tony Ruffo will serve as the lead instructor, with experts from leading manufacturers guest-lecturing at one or more sessions. Topics include steam systems, modulating controls, domestic hot water, radiant, hydro air, storage tanks and fuel pumps. Following each lecture, Ruffo will facilitate a roundtable discussion on the topic at hand.

The program is offered only in its entirety; single registration for a specific topic will not be permitted. The first series of classes will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings, for a total of fifteen sessions. Tuition is $825 per student for employees of NEFI member companies; nonmember tuition is $1,050. For a detailed course schedule and to register, visit www.nefi.com or call 617/924-1000.
