Sealed Unit Parts Co. Inc. (Supco) has signed an agreement with BuildNet Inc. to implement an online purchase order system and become an HVAConline.com manufacturing trading partner. It plans to enable its more than 1,200 distributors nationwide to use BuildNet to issue orders and receive invoices directly from its back-office systems.

HVAConline will work with Supco to improve information-input accuracy, increase efficiency and reduce transaction costs for the distributor. It should link Supco to distributors' existing accounting systems so that purchase-order information can easily be exchanged.
