The 2000 Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association Charity Golf Tournament raised a record $11,000 for local charities, 10 percent more than in 1999. The annual event, hosted by the PMC of Southeastern Wisconsin, attributes the increase to the generosity of 35 sponsors, 60 area retailers and many volunteers staffing the event.
