Peters comes from the National Association of Dental Laboratories and the National Board for Certification in Dental Technology in McLean, Va. He has 20 years of association management experience and served as executive director for the Society for Marketing Professional Services and the Associated Landscape Contractors of America.
"Based on an extensive interviewing process, we consider him an innovative leader who will help our association grow," PHCC President Skip Flatten said in a release.
Highlights of Peters' career include new program development and promotion, member benefit design and development, strategic planning, trade show production, financial management, Web development, federal advocacy and staff leadership.
Gerry Kennedy, who served in the interim as CEO, will reassume his position as chief operating officer of the PHCC Educational Foundation.
