The National Safety Council (NSC) awarded Gerard J. Kennedy its Distinguished Service and Safety Award. The award is the highest honor handed out to an individual by the NSC for outstanding service to the field of safety. Kennedy is chief operating officer for the Educational Foundation, Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association.
