New to the 2003 show is a "Project Team Track," a three-session series offering in-depth instruction on project planning, job progress tracking, managing revenue issues and other topics targeted to project managers. Although the Project Team Track is designed with project managers in mind, others who work closely with project managers (i.e., owner, estimators and controllers) will be encouraged to take advantage of the series. Other conference sessions will complement the Project Team Track series.
Dexter + Chaney has also added sessions on "Advanced Excel" and "Microsoft[r] Office to the 2003 lineup. Those sessions, and others, will provide instruction for accessing and evaluating Forefront data and creating tailored reports. As in previous years, the conference also will offer industry-specific roundtable discussions and a computer lab for one-on-one, question-and-answer sessions with experienced Dexter + Chaney staff.
Fun Events
Conference-goers will enjoy a Seattle Mariners baseball game at Safeco Field, a Friday-evening dinner cruise on Puget Sound, Thursday-evening dinner and entertainment at Bell Harbor and other leisure activities."Our users tell us that they come to the conference each year to learn more about how Forefront can help them do their jobs-while in a relaxed, fun atmosphere," said John Chaney, Dexter + Chaney co-founder and president. "That's why we've developed the new Project Team Track series this year. We hope to educate a large number of project managers-and those who work with them-about how to take full advantage of Forefront."
