Comfort Systems' Revenues Increase For First Half Of Year
Comfort Systems USA announced that revenues from continuing operations for the first six months of the year rose 4 percent from 2003 figures to $396.7 million. Income was $5.3 million, or 13 cents per diluted share, compared to a net loss for the same period in 2003 of $1.7 million. Revenues for the second quarter of 2004 increased 3 percent to $203.9 million from $198.8 million in 2003. Net income was $4.2 million, or 10 cents per diluted share. Backlog as of June 30, 2004, was a record $488.6 million for the company.
