John W. Danforth Co., Buffalo, N.Y., bought the majority of the assets of Orchard Park, N.Y.-based Niagara Frontier Sheet Metal, a 28-year-old sheet metal fabricator and installer.
In other news, the company promoted Richard Wagner to chief financial officer. Previously, he was the firm's controller, and the division controller for Howden Buffalo.
