Ace Hardware Corp. named Roger Lippoth of Pearl River, New York, as one of nine runners-up in the national "Hometown Heroes" contest. Lippoth was nominated for his work with troubled young men. Ace donated $1,000 to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Southern New York Chapter, in Lippoth's name. Lippoth and the woman who nominated him, Helen Trimble, both received a $500 Ace Universal Gift Certificates.
