EMCOR Group Announces 2002 Income, Revenue Increase
EMCOR Group announced a 25.8 percent increase in net income for 2002 to $62.9 million, or $4.07 per diluted share. 2001 net income was $50 million, or $3.40 per diluted share. 2002 revenues also increased to $3.97 billion, an increase of 16 percent from 2001's $3.42 billion. Fourth-quarter revenues were $1.12 billion, a 29.5 percent increase from the same period a year ago.
In other news, Larry J. Bump, chairman of engineering and construction firm Willbros Group, was elected to EMCOR's board of directors.
