Nevada, Arizona and Florida have the highest housing market “hotness” ratings, according to real estate expert Jeff Meyers, who spoke at the spring Construction Contractors Alliance meeting in San Francisco. The ratings are based on housing permits per 1,000 residents. He also said that 2004 will be a solid year for homebuilding due to interest rates, a limited supply of new homes and an improving economy.
