Wolseley, parent company of Ferguson Enterprises, will invest more than $30 million to build a 220,000-sq.-ft. headquarters facility in Newport News, Va., which will add more than 400 jobs to the area. Governor Mark R. Warner approved a $1 million grant from the Governor's Opportunity Fund to assist Newport News with the project. He also approved $3 million in funds from the Virginia Economic Development Incentive Grant. Wolseley is the second recipient of the grant.
