A.O. Smith Recognized By National Guard
A.O. Smith Water Heaters was recognized by the Ashland City (Tenn.) Army National Guardsmen during recent “Freedom Salute” ceremonies as an “outstanding center of influence” for its support of the soldiers. The Ashland City Guardsmen were deployed for 18 months, a year of which was in Iraq. A framed flag mosaic was presented to Jim Flockencier (left), vice president of A.O. Smith Water Heaters, by Company Commander Capt. Cecil Culbreth (center) and Company 1st Sgt. Robert Perry in recognition for the company's support of the unit and their families during the deployment.
