EMCOR Group purchased Midwesco Services, the mobile services of division of Chicago-area Midwesco Mechanical. Midwesco Services provides heating, air-conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration and energy service retrofits and upgrades for commercial, industrial and institutional facilities. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. EMCOR Services Midwest, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group with offices in Illinois and Wisconsin, will integrate Midwesco Services into its operations.

In related news, Thom Sellars was named vice president and general manager of EMCOR Services Midwest. After 20 years of military service, Sellars worked at Carrier Corp. before joining EMCOR in 2005. He remains an active Air Force reservist.
