Jacuzzi has named Thomas Koos president and CEO, replacing Al Marini, who is joining Rexnord Corp.

Jacuzzi Brands, maker of bathtubs and plumbing products, has namedThomas Koospresident and CEO. Koos, 43, will take over the post April 2.

Koos replacesAl Marini, who is leaving Jacuzzi to join Rexnord Corp., the company that recently acquired Zurn, Jacuzzi’s plumbing products business. Marini will continue to serve on the Jacuzzi board of directors.

Koos formerly served as corporate officer and group president of consumer products worldwide for Black & Decker. He has also held senior posts at Newell Rubbermaid.

Chino, Calif.-based Jacuzzi Brands is a global manufacturer of bath and plumbing products under the Jacuzzi, Sundance and Astracast names.
