Intertek Testing Services NA Inc.was named a certification body to the Environmental Protection Agency for its WaterSense Program by offering a certification program that meets or exceeds the specifications set by EPA within the High-Efficiency Toilets category. Intertek can now help manufacturers throughout North America to determine compliance with efficiency and performance specifications for water conserving toilet fixtures.
The WaterSense program also includes the certification of irrigation professionals and will soon include High-Efficiency Bathroom Sink Faucets. Through the program, the EPA will be working to make the first generation of WaterSense-labeled products available to the public.
