The Rheem Classic 2006 golf tournament played at historic Hardscrabble Country Club in Fort Smith, Ark., exceeded its fundraising goals with a windfall contribution approaching a quarter of a million dollars. The organization distributed $200,000 to 23 charities that partnered with the 2006 tournament by providing volunteer support. The nine-year Fort Smith tournament’s total charitable contributions have reached $1.1 million dollars.
