QSC Focuses On Integrity, Ethics
Meeting
in Washington, D.C., Quality Service Contractor members heard from a variety of
speakers about best practices and guidelines that will help their companies
operate in a correct and fair manner. Members also shared ideas with other
contractors in a new small-shop roundtable and visited a QSC member office
(John C. Flood of Alexandria, Va.) to learn of the different ways members
operate their businesses. .
Members also had the opportunity to tour the White House, have lunch with Rep. Lynne Westmoreland (R-Ga.) at the Capitol Hill Club, and visit their federal legislators’ offices.
Also, a golf tournament sponsored by Hodes Co. and benefiting Challenge Air, an avitation program for physically challenged children, raised more than $12,000. This brings the total amount raised by QSC for Challenge Air to $92,000 during eight Power Meetings.
The next Power Meeting will be March 6-8, 2008, in Palm Springs, Calif.
