Cleveland-based Aetna Plastics Corp. recently acquired Pro-Fab Mfg. Inc., a division of Magnus Equipment of Willoughby, Ohio. Pro-Fab is a 25-year-old fabricator of corrosion resistant plastic equipment with a plant located in Macedonia, Ohio.

Pro-Fab Mfg. will join the operation of Vanguard Plastics, a company in Mantua, Ohio, that Aetna acquired in 2004. Pro-Fab’s people and equipment will be relocated in the recently purchased and expanded facilities of Vanguard Plastics.
