Matco-Norca, an independent supplier of plumbing, PVF and soil irrigation products, announced that Lynn A. McVay, formerly of Watts Water Technologies, has joined the company as its new president, effective this month.
The official announcement was made in a joint statement issued by Matco-Norca President Dov Matz and Board Chairman Russell Stern.
Lynn McVay had been with Watts since 2003 and was most recently Executive Vice President of Sales and President of the company’s Retail Group. Prior to Watts he worked for the Little Giant Pump Co., where he helped expand the company’s international business and spearheaded an Asian sourcing operation. A native of Witchita, KS, he is a graduate of the University of Kansas.
“We are both proud and honored to have Lynn on board at Matco-Norca,” said company founders Dov Matz and Russell Stern. “He has solid experience in our industry and especially in sourcing quality products from the best manufacturers in Asia. We fully expect Lynn to help us grow our business at an even faster pace in the years ahead.”
In conjunction with Lynn McVay’s appointment, Dov Matz, formerly president, will become Chairman of the Board and CEO of Matco-Norca while Russell Stern will retire as chairman.
