ZURN Industries’ new Performa® PEX Tubing has proven just how flexible PEX can be. This new and improved barrier tubing is 30 percent more flexible than any of Zurn’s other products, making it substantially easier to handle and less time-consuming to install. It has an integral oxygen barrier and complies with ASTM F-876/F-877.
In addition to being more flexible, Performa is manufactured using a new LayflatTM technology. This advancement in manufacturing produces coils with minimal “coil memory” so that Performa lays flatter when removed from Zurn’s innovative QickCoilTM packaging system. The QickCoilTM packaging facilitates easy uncoiling and storage for the installer.
Performa tubing is suitable for a full range of residential, commercial and industrial applications. These include radiant heating, radiant cooling, and snow and ice melting. It is also suitable for a number of underground fluid distribution applications and even hot water baseboard piping.
