TacoPresident and CEOJohn Hazen White Jr.now commutes to and from work most days in his new 2008 Smart fortwo. Offered through Mercedes-Benz, the car gets 38-41 mpg on the highway. The 6-foot 1-inch CEO credits its ample head and legroom, but White also believes in the statement the car makes.
“We’re a green company at Taco - in our operations and product offerings - so a Smart car with its small carbon footprint is part of that effort,” he announced.
White has several more Smart cars on order for Taco, which the company will use for local and area business runs.
