NAHB’s National Green Building Standard™ (ICC 700-2008)
for all residential construction work has been approved by the American
National Standards Institute. The National Green Building Standard is the first
green building rating system to be approved by ANSI. The standard defines what
green practices can be incorporated into residential development and
construction on a national scale and how homeowners can operate and maintain
their green homes.
