Life members of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association National Auxiliary (PHCC-NA) gathered to discuss business and hold elections at the Lifetime Member Breakfast during the recent PHCC CONNECT 2009 Convention held in New Orleans, La. The breakfast event has been sponsored by LA-CO Industries Inc. for more than 29 years.
"This breakfast tradition for the Auxiliary is something we look forward to every year at the convention and is a fun way to catch-up and conduct business,” stated Ann Rivers, 2009 PHCC-NA Auxiliary president. “LA-CO’s support of this event throughout the years is much appreciated and is a testament to their dedication to all facets of the plumbing industry.”
The 22 lifetime members attending the meeting this year paid special tribute to those members who have passed, and established a memorial tradition that will continue annually. Members also held elections for the first time in 10 years. Former Chairman of the Life Member’s Club, Terry Giebelhaus, was elected vice president of the National Auxiliary. Elected to fill the Chairman position was Corinne Riley, while Judy Driscoll will continue to serve as Secretary. Nancy Eberhardt is Chaplain and Lorrain Morin is Historian. New Life Member, Rivers, was also welcomed to the club.
"LA-CO is honored to be involved with the Auxiliary and plans to continue our commitment to such a rich piece of tradition in the plumbing industry,” stated Benjamin Kleiman, plumbing marketing and sales manager at LA-CO. “LA-CO’s particularly supportive to these lifetime members because we share a mutual spirit of longevity that is a result of dedication and quality relationships.”
