North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification testing will be available during theAHR Expo 2011in Las Vegas on Monday, Jan. 31, hosted by Baker Distributing Co.
All HVACR technicians are encouraged to get certified. Candidates can earn installation and/or service certification in nine specialty areas: air conditioning, air distribution, heat pumps, gas heating, oil heating, hydronics gas, hydronics oil, and commercial, light commercial refrigeration and senior efficiency analyst.
The test session will begin at 1 p.m. To help prepare technicians for the test, Baker Distributing will offer a two and a half-hour NATE refresher course from 8:30 - 11 a.m.
