During May, the International Code Council Foundation celebrates its 31st Building Safety Month-An International Celebration of Safe and Sensible Structures.
Throughout the month, ICC members will educate consumers and builders about building safety and sustainability issues and sharing ideas for making buildings more energy-efficient and durable.
Each week during May will feature a different theme. The May 1-8 theme is Energy and Green Building Week. The May 9-15 theme is Disaster Safety and Mitigation Week. The May 16-22 theme is Fire Safety and Awareness Week and the May 23-31 theme is Backyard Safety Week.
