Chevrolet introduces the Captiva Sport, a variant of the Chevrolet Captiva compact crossover. It will be available for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2011 as a 2012 model. Variants of the compact crossover are available in more than 50 global markets. The U.S.-specific version is a contemporary five-seat crossover that addresses fleet customers’ needs for roominess, utility and fuel efficiency. The Captiva Sport features either an Ecotec 2.4-liter direct-injected four-cylinder or 3.0-liter direct-injected V-6 engine - each matched with a fuel-saving six-speed automatic transmission.
