ROTHENBERGER USA’s 1/2- through 2-inch jaws used on its new line of ROPRESS tools, including the new ROMAX 3000, have received IAPMO PS117 approval. All tests were conducted using the ROMAX 3000 battery-powered press tool, which is designed for pressing copper press fittings in such places as large-dimensioned cellar distributions, hard-to-access front-wall installations, or cramped duct installations - all without changing the press, which enables plumbing installers to reduce installation and repair time. The ROMAX 3000 weighs only 8 pounds and the tool’s head rotates 270 degrees.
