As a new member of Caleffi’s DIRTCAL family of dirt separators, the vertical version removes particles much smaller than those removed through a typical Y-strainer, efficiently removing particles as small as 5 microns. Likewise, the new vertical DISCAL air separator is used to continuously remove air contained in hydronic circuits with very high air discharge capacity. Both are available in 3/4” to 1” sizes with sweat connections. The flow direction of the separators is bidirectional.
