PHCC Pro Series founder named a finalist for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Alan
Schulman, founder of Glentronics, was named
a finalist for the 2012 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Schulman, the PHCC Pro Series founder, is being recognized for his business
leadership in the battery backup and primary sump pump industry.
The Ernst & Young award honors people who build and lead successful, growing and dynamic businesses.
“It’s an honor to have been named a finalist in this prestigious competition. Thinking back 22 years ago, all I had was an idea and a goal of creating a better backup sump pump,” said Schulman. “My original goal has since expanded to include leading the pump industry into the creation of energy efficient sump pumps and advanced monitoring technology, which now sets the bar in the product category. Thus, my efforts have allowed me to be compared to many noted business leaders in this country. It’s a true vote of confidence to be considered their peer.”
