Wholesale distributor The Granite Group (Plumbing & Mechanical’s 2013 Supply House of the Year) recently opened its 31st location at a 10,000-sq.-ft. facility in Newport, Vt., the former home of Fred’s Plumbing & Heating. Part of its continuing commitment to expansion throughout New England, the Newport location is the third new branch opened by The Granite Group over the last year.
