The Mechanical Contractors Association of America introduces its Model Permit-Required Confined Space Program for Construction. It is an easily customizable tool that enables the user to create site-specific programs that will protect affected workers from confined space hazards and assist affected company personnel in complying with OSHA’s new confined space standard for the construction industry, which became enforceable on Oct. 2. The model program is available for download online.
